Last August, the school holidays looked very different for a group of young footballers eager for something new, as they traded ordinary holiday plans for four unforgettable days at the Campa Kixx Bootcamp.
While most children spent their vacation the usual way, those who joined Kixx experienced something entirely new: Campa Kixx 2025, a four-day football campcation designed to inspire, develop and excite young players in a way Sri Lanka has never seen before.
More than just a football bootcamp, Campa Kixx was a complete holiday experience built around movement, friendship, confidence and unforgettable moments. From the youngest players aged 3 to 6, to rising talents in the 6 to 12 and 13 to 16 categories, every child stepped into an environment created especially for them.

Each day brought a different experience. Day one welcomed players through interactive and energetic games, team activities and confidence-building sessions that quickly turned strangers into teammates. Day two raised the level with professional coaching sessions focused on technique, tactics, and game understanding for both goalkeepers and outfield players. Adding to the experience, James Balmond, former European club-level player, bringing elite experience from the European game, and Technical Director of Kixx joined the camp for a special technical hour, where players had the opportunity to learn from his experience, insight, and high-level understanding of the game gained from competing on the European stage. Day three delivered one of the most exciting highlights ever introduced to youth football in Sri Lanka; a day of wet pitches, big laughs, and endless energy. Slipping, scoring, celebrating and competing, players enjoyed every second.
The grand finale brought friendly small-sided matches, showcase games, goalkeeper battles and awards recognising effort, growth and character. Smiles were constant, parents were proud, and the progress in every child was visible.

What made Campa Kixx different was not only the football, but the feeling. It was built around the Orange Framework, inspired by European youth development methods, while still keeping the joy, freedom, and imagination every child deserves during their holidays. It blended coaching, entertainment, friendship and memories into one complete experience; moments safely locked in the vault of childhood memories, the kind that gets stored deep in the memory bank for life.
Official merchandise was in huge demand throughout the camp, with players proudly wearing their Kixx gear and becoming part of something bigger than a camp.
And for many families, it became the highlight of the summer.
